COVID protocol for CAMINO COPALITA 2022

 

Context: This protocol was born from an explicit request from the communities that belong to the Camino Copalita project.

Scope: This protocol is based on a code of honor and honesty. For the good of all please make responsible, honest, and intelligent decisions.

Responsibility: All travelers acknowledge that they accept the risk of traveling alongside other people, and will not hold anyone responsible for a possible contagion. Travelers also acknowledge that given the logistical difficulties of going to a health clinic, if someone had severe symptoms, it could take up to 2 days to reach a city with a health clinic.

Pre-trip measures:

1) You must get a negative antigen test done maximum 48 hours before the trip. And we need documented proof shared with us before the trip. We recommend a number of places in Oaxaca City:

2) Everyone will have to sign a disclaimer eliminating liability for Camino Copalita, and a declaration of being considered low risk due to the measures taken 2 weeks prior to the trip.

3) If you test positive 1-3 days before the trip, you can change your date with no cost, but we cannot offer a refund.

During the trip:

1) Mandatory use of mask whenever asked or if you have symptoms of COVID

2) In case of having COVID Symptoms:

a. Use of face masks mandatory at all times

b. Strict distancing of travelers and community members

c. When traveling by motorized transport, always do it in the trunk of the pickup

d. Don't go rafting

e. If the symptoms are not mild, we will look for the safest and easiest way to take you to Huatulco or Oaxaca, depending on where we are.

Post - Travel Measures:

1) In case of testing positive up to 10 days after the trip, you must notify Camino Copalita so that they notify all travelers and any community member with whom they have been in contact

Políticas de Cancelación

No se pueden hacer reembolsos, sin embargo:

Mas de 90 días antes de la fecha de salida, pueden cambiar a cualquier fecha del mismo año calendario sin costo alguno.

El viaje es 100% transferible a otra persona para la misma fecha en cualquier momento. 

NOTA: Camino Copalita se reserva el derecho a cancelar cualquier viaje por motivos de emergencia extrema, y los lugares se podrán reagendar para cualquier fecha en el futuro, sin límite de tiempo.

Cancellation Policy

We´re sorry we are not able to give refunds, but:

If the trip is more than 90 days away from beginning, you can change your trip to any available date of the same calendar year free of charge.  Less than 90 days before the trip, changes cannot be made.

You can transfer your spot to someone else with no cost at any time

Camino Copalita reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time if because of extreme emergencies, in which case you will be able to reschedule for any future date.

Facturación

Si requieres facturas, favor de seguir estos pasos y políticas:

Enviar un correo a facturacion@productosterritoriales.com con:

  • Ficha del comprobante de pago

  • Datos fiscales a quién se le emitirá la factura

  • Constancia de Situación Fiscal de quien se le factura

  • Fecha tentativa de su viaje


La fecha límite para solicitar la factura electrónica serán los días 29 de cada mes.

Una vez emitida las facturas no podrán ser canceladas a excepción de que tengan algún error y sean dentro del mes, de lo contrario no será posible hacer cancelaciones.

La factura se realizará bajo el concepto de:

Desarrollo y fomento del "Programa de Preparación y Aprovechamiento Sustentable de Terrenos Agrícolas y Parcelarios de los agricultores del Sistema Comunitario para la Biodiversidad (SICOBI) así como para el mantenimiento de la vegetación y el paisaje de la ruta Camino Copalita"
